OUR STORY

Airy Point Farms is run by the Sippel Family in Saint Cloud, Wisconsin. By trade, Derek is a dairy and crop farmer and Nicole is a Certified Veterinary Nurse.
We met as fellow Badgers at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Although growing up we were part of the neighboring communities of Campbellsport and Kewaskum, our paths hadn’t crossed prior to college.
Once we settled near the home dairy farm on a hobby farm of our own, Nicole focused on accumulating more and more critters(fainting goats and a miniature pony, among others) and Derek dove into the world of giant pumpkin growing. And by giant, I mean that his personal record is 2,147lbs! 
We welcomed our own little pumpkins thereafter, and since then have loved watching them grow to help us in the garden and caring for the animals even more than we ever could have imagined. Together, our family has provided sunflowers and pumpkins for family, friends and local businesses for a number of years. In 2020, we decided to make an official name for ourselves and expand to grow local flowers for bouquets through summer as well as additional pumpkins, squash and gourds in the fall to decorate and bring joy to the homes and businesses of family, friends and community members.
